Mo Hepworth
push...chime in. You will know it when you see it. This is more for Production shooters.

BritinUSA
Done. The thread is a request to try and get Tanfoglio to list Henning's parts as products on their web-site. This would (in theory) allow their use under IPSC Production requirements.

Bianchi
Some sort of a franchising deal maybe? The parts could be marked/marketed as "Approved by Tanfoglio as an original part" or "Approved Tanfoglio part". For an X% contribution per part sold via Henning, they would have to assume warranty coverage and include them in the regular Tanfo marketing documents. A "win-win" situation probably.....Tanfos become more competitive and popular especially for Production . At the last national championship in my neck of the woods, hardly one gleaming Stock II could be identified amongst the PD fraternity, so there is definately room for improvement. CZ Shadows/Mambas comprised over 30% of the field.
Maks_H
Update: I've talked with Barbara Tanfoglio on IWA about supporting Henning parts as factory options but no luck, because she is not familiar with Henning contribution to Tanfoglio. She said they really like customers feedback as a small firm but apparently not on every topic.
Mo Hepworth
that is a piss-off. How can they say that they are unsure about Hennings contribution (hello,..making the gun more reliable than factory, using the tanfoglio firearms to win numerous matches,etc..etc...etc.) I emailed tanfoglio and got a reply basically saying no,..not at this time. I also pointed outhow CZ uses a gazillion parts and recieved no reply,...which is a reply in itself if you read between the lines. With factory options in production,...the CZ Shadow is ahead of the stock2,...bottom line. If tanfoglio at least allowed springs, firing pins, hammers and better sears the stock2 would be a winner and an equal gun to the shadow (all things being equal then) I love my stock 2 but cannot legally for IPSC get my trigger down to Shadow levels using factory parts. Yep. I bought a Stock 2 last fall, but can't get the trigger to the same level as my Shadow without filling on the hammer, and sear. I don't want to do that and have to replace them a little while down the road since they are soft. So my Stock 2 sits in the safe while I shoot my Shadow. sinnsyk
We'll see, not out of the question it can happen. I have been asked by Tanfoglio to send samples of my parts. And I'm going to visit with the owner at the factory in Italy in June. So then we'll know. Either way it's no big deal for me if they don't buy my parts. But it could bring the prices down as my cost would go down when I can make larger batches. And of course a great recognition of the quality of my parts.
