azeric
I have 4 pounds of bullseye I need to use and the 147gr 9mm bullets seem to do a good job of knocking down the steel. Just wondering if anyone has a pet 9mm load using 147 gr 9mm JHP or FMJ and bullseye. Thanks!
The_Vigilante
3.0/3.2 grains is a soft shooting load and has been accurate for me. Never did chrono it though.
azeric
Thanks, not looking to make any PF, just want to knock the steel down at the club shoots better than the 115grs do now.
JeffWard
3.0/3.2 grains is a soft shooting load and has been accurate for me. Never did chrono it though. Depending on the bullet... I shot 3.2gr of Bullseye with Zero JHP 147s. Made power factor nicely in my 5" M&P. Jeff
azeric
Thanks Jeff: Look like 3 grs is a good place to start and work up a little from there. I'm gonna load some today and shoot 'em tomorrow and I'll let you know what they chrono and how accurate they are taking the shooter into consideration
usp45ss
I used to use 3.4 or so. Nice and soft yet good, reliable ejection. It would still make power factor in a 5" 1911. I ran 3.7-3.8 in my subgun and suppressors. It would make around 950fps in a Glock 34.
