We will be shooting 6 stages with an approximate round count of 100 rifle, 100 pistol, 75 birdshot, and a handful of slugs. Hammer down at 10:00am sharp. $10 for members and $15 for non members. We will be shooting the mini paper and a bunch of steel. Rifle out to ~140yards and some hoser stuff thrown in. It is a real fun match and a great tune up for the upcoming season. Modified IMGA rules with no magnification rifle dots in tac-iron and we may modify a few more.

It is one of the best local matches you will ever shoot.

The club and directions can be found at okcgunclub.org

Ok folks, this is shaping up to be a big match. Come on over, or up, or down, wherever. It is going to be all for fun, a ton of rounds, and very inexpensive.

There is a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Marriott and I think one more of some sort less than 10 miles from the range at the intersection Mike mentioned above.

I think I'll jump in on this one. Anybody got recommendations on a place to stay?

I will do that soon.

I wonder since all us okies are heading to CC for the carbine match, if the guys from down there will make the trip. I hear there is some guy named Ty or something that has shot a rifle once or twice. I would hate to have to see them South Texas boys not shoot a match before theirs! :)

I will even buy the 3-mile wings Saturday night, Benny!

The wife is fighting me hard about the match down in Corpus. It's the beginning of busy time at work. I may have to send my guns with you and fly back and forth so I don't miss any work.

I'll buy everybody from South Texas a beer if they make it to our match.

Hehehehe. Easy to say when you are 8,000 miles away! :)

Looks like we are going to be shooting out to 400meters for this one now. Should be even more fun now. I will post stages soon. Remember, this will have a big match feel for a local match fee. We will be shooting mostly half size paper and lots of steel and clays. The long range will have 5-7 flash targets from 100 to 400 meters and will be shot from a couple different positions. May get a wee bit muddy, but it is 3-gun! :)

its interesting the way you schedule these things on days I have to work!!!!! I mean really there aren't that many days in a year that I do, yet you seem to have no trouble finding them.

have fun guys, wish i could be there.

400 meters? That's a tad bit over 300 yds isn't it? Yikes!!! Those guys with the 10" SBR's might not like that too much. I guess I need to go do a little long range work too.

Seriously? You're an engineer?

400meters= 437yards.

That stinks! Our every other month match will start on the third Sunday in March and continue every other month on the 3rd Sunday.

Ok, it is official. We will have 6 stages. Shots will be from 1 to 450 yards. Round count will be pretty close to 100 for each gun including 15 slugs from 20-100 yards.
