Bigpops Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Amen! I spent a tour (3 years) in Antarctica flying the National Science Foundation around. "Global Warming" was a huge topic...and twice as big of a money maker. The "Super Pole" was built with those dollars. Ice core samples proved over and over that our weather is "cyclic"...go figure! (our Grandpa's and Grandma's have been telling us this for years) Thanks for the laugh Edited December 9, 2009 by Bigpops
Tyler Payne Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I wish that global warming would happen faster! I hate the cold!
Jman Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 You'd think that those "terrified" that the planet is dying would be overjoyed by the revelation that the fix was in. But..... Makes one wonder what really drives them. THIS IS GONNA GET LOCKED Jim
TMC Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 This one I like the best is when the climate "experts" tell us that the sun has nothing to do with global temperatures.
GentlemanJim Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 This one I like the best is when the climate "experts" tell us that the sun has nothing to do with global temperatures. In the Real World....you know, the one most of us live in The sun is THE factor in climate cycles As the wizzard said....pay no attention to the man behind the curtain Jim
el pres Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I'm no longer allowed to comment on such treads !! But I guess you all know where I stand !!
JimmyZip Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Someone, more than one , is making alot of money on this stuff but...... ........I still like the idea of being so energy efficient that the oil we buy goes a lot further in the future. I hate paying for something I could get for free, or relatively cheaper. (Like solar for electricity.) I live in the Southwest. Sun is the norm. Friends I know have changed over and like not paying the "man" for the majority of their consumption. The drivel is paying someones' (collective one) paycheck. Wish it was mine, cause I need the money!
Jman Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 We will be able to explore for new and more efficient sources of energy. It will take strong backs and heavy equipment. But only if we have the money to do it. As it stands, we won't. Apparently we owe the world unlimited reparations. Jim
