Revopop
It's a small thing, but I hate it when actors have a gun with a decocker and don't use it. I'm watching "The Replacement Killers", and Chow Yun-Fat keeps decocking his Beretta with his thumb on the hammer, there's been at least one instance in which he did it fast enough that I'm sure Mira Sorvino would've had her face blown off if it'd been real. Jack Bauer does it with his Sigs and HKs, too. I know movies, especially those with Chow Yun-Fat in them, aren't lauded for their realistic gunplay, but it just annoys me. How do I get a job as a Hollywood gun consultant?
CJDOUBLETAP
That bugs me too. Somthing else that bugs me is when someone has an XD or Glock etc... and you can hear them cock the hammer back like a 1911 or revo. lol
chefcs5
or they shoot thier 1911 16 shots or so before ever thinking of reloading..lol.. and why do they never start with a round in the chamber. especially in shotguns the first thing any one does when they get out thier gun is cock it. If I were carrying a pistol I think id already have one in the chamber
Team Amish 1
CJ, could not agree more. Guy presents gun and gun goes "click". Annoys the hell outta me, every time. Also, saw some SWAT cop in a movie take aim at a woman in a house, at night, and the woman sees a RED DOT on her arm... Huh???
Alan550
And to add another, how about a revolver with a "silencer" on it? Alan~^~
S&W627shooter
I was watching the show "Fringe" a few weeks ago, and the security guard fired his glock 4 or 5 times before it went dry. And how did we know if went dry? Did the slide lock back? No, the gun went "click, click, click." Even my revolver only goes "click" once.
Trini
Just got done watching "The Taking of Pelham 123" and Denzel Washington is given a Walther PPK by the NYPD officer and puts it in the bag with the money. When the bad guys are making their getaway and Washington takes the pistol out of the bag and gets away from them. When he finally chases down John Travolta and draws down on him the pistol is not a Walther but looks like a Kahr.

As I recall, some of Colt's earlier models were 38 super auto, which held more than 7 or 8 rounds.....but you are absolutely right, watch John Wayne shoot those Colt Peacemakers 22 times and never reload.
