DMS42
I hate snow! It is snowing right now with more forecast for the next couple of days. Besides all the work that the white stuff entails it means that I can't drive around in Blu Dot, which makes me hate snow enough worse. Edited to add: What makes it really bad is that I posted this in the wrong place. Mods please move it for me. Thanks. JimmyZip
I hate that as soon as my team is really hitting it's stride, the season is over and our last game is tomorrow. I will miss these kids. I hope some of them play spring league and I get a coaching slot. JZ
SiG Lady
I hate that after finally learning all the basics and procedures of my job in the law office for the past four months (a rather detailed task set), my employer saw fit to essentially cut my hours/pay to a work-from-home, piece-rate position with essentially no guarantees of how much work I'll be issued. Naturally, if they're motivated by "cost cutting", then I'll no way make even the same little bit of money I was making at the original 30-hr-week, right?! Either way, I'm losing money in huge chunks from here on out. Time to find more work. Gah! Or, as a friend of mine responded about it one day recently: "No good deed goes unpunished." S**t, I guess so. There's always the chance that this decision could come back to bite the employer (this very thing happened a year ago in another law office), and the workload will prove to be 'too much' without the services of an additional production person. I can always hope for that.
LPatterson
It's no longer Friday but I can relate to DMS42's frustration, I bought a 2 wheel drive pickup to save on gas money but the thing is a hog in cold weather. With the 6-8" of snow since Friday night and the drop into the teens with a prediction for some -20's before the warmup, I don't plan to move the truck before midweek.
