gunner40sw
I read that because of a lawsuit against this company they will not be allowed to make the rifle anymore. So I see one company on the internet is already selling one for 1999.00 far above the regular price of around 500.00. Does anyone think this gun is really gonna be a collectors item and go up in price this much.
Middle Man
nope Another importer (with HK blessings and royalty payments) will surely bring them back to the market.
Rynnäkökivääri 62
No it's a low quality replica and I wouldn't recommend it anyone even at the $500 price level.
ERIC
Collectors item...no. Cool, fun plinker...yes. My buddy just picked the pistol version this weekend for $399. Its pretty heafty for a 22.
gmantwo
Nice enough gun if you like it, heavy. I have two of the S&W AR 22's and thought about trading one for a GSG 22, but I really like my Smiths, not so much the GSG. Like you I tried to decide if it would ever be collectible, but I think not. No telling how many of them they imported. My dealer has 10 of each model and 10 of the pistols too.
