Jman
For a hysterectomy. She's bummed and nervous about it. She has not seen the inside of a hospital as a patient since our youngest daughter was born 21 years ago. Not sitting well with her. Admittedly I'm a bit anxious too. Her Doctor and hospital are 1st class and I know she is in good hands, but still. Jim

Sarge
Yep, that's a pretty big deal. My wife has been there and done that. She will need you alot during her recovery. Best wishes for her speedy recovery!
LadyinBlue
Been there...done that. I can imagine that if she's scheduled for surgery then she really needs it. That probably means she feels pretty crappy on a good day. I hope she can look forward to feeling better and enjoying how she feels afterwards. Prayers sent! Jman
Thanks to everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate them. The surgery went very well. She's home. NOT comfortable by a long shot. She has weeks of recuperation in front of her. But my girls and I, plus AX her dog will help her get there. Thanks again. Rob Boudrie
Second best decision my wife ever made was getting de-uterized. I hope it works out as well for your wife.
JMD
Jim, Time does heal all. Be supportive, which shouldn't be a problem, and have her take the meds. G'luck, Joel
