Vince Pinto
Hi guys, This is just to let you know that the European Championships have been oversubscribed by 30% so, if you haven't got a slot yet, it's unlikely you'll get one now, unless you are willing to shoot the "Pre-Match", but even that's full. There were 600 slots originally but they already have at least 780 applications. A good problem, but nonetheless a problem
A33435
Well i am glad i have a slot already. I noticed that in the " other regions" competitorslist Hong Kong is mentioned. Will you be there as an active shooter too Vince? Greetings Adrie
NPSA 86-259
oversubscribed by 30% just means want to have. I wonder how many slots allready have been given to the several countries and how many slots will be divided by the want to have subscriptions? Do you know if the organization in time will publlish a list of the compititors and the slots of the several countries?

NPSA 86-259
Big problem seems to be how to get our ammo there, no carrier will allow more than 5kg per pax, drives me nuts If you still do have problems with sending or travelling you might try to buy reloaded ammo. If the CZ shooters can not help you, than inform with the RD's of the other countries what possibilties there are. In Europe many shooters like myself do reload their own ammo. Problem will be passing the CZ border. If you travel to Amsterdam and from there to CZ by car we might give you a help, allthough I don't know yet if under the Dutch regulations this will be possible or is allowed to do. Saul Kirsch might know what kind of possibilities there will be, he lives in the Netherlands and shoots a lot of matches in the USA as well as in Europe. NPSA 86-259
........the European Championships have been oversubscribed by 30%............There were 600 slots originally but they already have at least 780 applications. A good problem, but nonetheless a problem I wonder if this is true, the countries had to pay the slots before 29 february 2004. The want to have slots they had to pay € 25,= per slot. On the website of the organization they show statistic information per 1-4-2004. http://www.ec2004.cz/ShowText_en.php?id=1203 Figures are: All Regions Total Slot match 256 slots prematch 26 standard 98 open 69 modified 12 production 59 revolver 14 Where are those 600 slots? Even
The numbers look wrong. I know that from Norway there will 49 or 50 shooters.
NPSA 86-259
Did norway have 49 slots or do they have less and are 49-50 people willing to go? How slots did norway have on 1st january 2004?
Even
Norway got 50+ slots, and we almost filled them all.
NPSA 86-259
I don't have to worry about wild cards anymore, a Dutch guy will not make it to the EC2004 and so the Dutch Region gave me a slot because I was first on the Dutch wild card list. This means I will be there too in the main match.

NPSA 86-259
Two hotels about 30 km away still have rooms left. http://www.hotelzvikov.cz/index_en.php http://www.novydvursro.cz/index.html and maybe http://www.hotel-relax.cz/ If your are goiing with a couple of guys I would try to book a house with several bedrooms. I booked a house near Stadlec about 8 km from the range. example: 7 km south of Tabor http://www.topictravel.nl/(pocomz45dawwct4...2004&Duration=7 If you want to look on a map then you should try this one http://www.mapy.cz/handler.py?action=right...-5461010_select

NPSA 86-259
No, don't think so, the whole french region is not the list. All the others and even the british like Angus Hobdell are present.
Julien Boit
There are lots of shooters missing on the list. I've not seen most of the Italian top shooters, and others. But I noticed a big contingent of german shooters, around 100 ... We just have to wait
