I think it probably has to due with the size of the tritium vial and manufacturers not wanting to leave that little of material on either side. I do widen the notches a little on the guns that I have tritium installed in but I would still prefer a narrower front. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Loves2Shoot Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 Tooltech I've used these folks for putting new Trijicon vials in dead sights and custom sights, so giving them a call would most likely solve your problem.
