Duane Thomas
From a power factor standpoint CDP is the toughest. 125000 v 165000 Radical idea here. Recoil level - within reason, of course - is not the huge factor in shooting performance that a lot of people like to think it is. Like I said, I've got the results of my own shooting sessions to back that up, at least for me. One strange thing I've noticed about my shooting lately is that I've gotten to the point that the cartridge, and even the platform, doesn't really make that much difference in my shooting. The results of my practice sessions show pretty much identical performance whether I'm shooting a Glock 9mm, 1911 .45 or 1911 9mm. Frankly I find that minor differences in gun model, for instance I can fire a Glock 17 better than a Glock 34, make more difference to me than whether the gun is a Glock or a 1911, a 9mm or a .45. Now, my ability to shoot a DA/SA has gone to crap, but that's just because I haven't shot them seriously in years. Back when carried, and practiced regularly, with a SIG P228 I was good at it.
