Craigar45
I am curious how Ion Bond handles laser engraving... Anyone ever try it? As I understand, the coating is very thin and wouldnt conceal any engraving done prior to coating, but what about adding it later? Can you burn right through it? Thanks! If you use a light setting it just discolors the surface. Turning the laser up will actually burn into the ionbond which doesn't show up as well, and could lead to problems down the road. I'll post some pics when I get home tonight.

busyhawk
C45, I had Springer Percision highlight my comets on my slide with some color (Dura-Coat) after it was Ion-Bonded...Scott Springer did a very nice job! Just another option... Hope this helps... RLTW, Scott Hawkins
