That sounds a little silly...of course, the link goes to a Midway press release.  So, that is their version.

If it is as frivolous as presented, then that might be pretty poor stategy on Brownell's part.  Look at the free publicity that Midway is getting (and we are talking about it).

Perhaps there is more to the story.

The only way that suit can go anywhere is if Brownell's trademarked their catalog design to such an extent.  The words "snowball's chance..." come to mind.

Unless it's absolutely for real I don't think people in the gun business should spend there time suing each other thats what the antis have been doing.

Naah, all sorts of wierd things happen in IP law.. this isn't so far off.. My personal guess is that this is one of the constant trading spats that bubbled out into the public realm for whatever reason midway thought they could benefit from it.  For grins, compare Brownells tools and the 'Wheeler Engineering' stuff midway sells.  If they're not the same OEM, somebody definately should be suing..
