Religious Shooter
I have some Lapua (brass). But I'm looking for .243 Win cases made by either Win or RP for the lost brass matches. I can only find nickel RP. Not looking for extreme accuracy. Only looking for .75-1 MOA... fast (3000 fps+). Also I'm looking to reload them at least 3-5 times. Is nickel plated brass OK for this? Or does the plating cause enough inconsistency to make them noticeably less accurate? Thanks.

The factories use it for premium loads for some very good reasons, but re-use must not be one of them. They are most commonly used to make the "premium" ammo identifiable. Nickel cases resist corrosion better than plain brass & are harder & "slicker", making them feed better. I imagine case trimming is probably one of the causes of nickel cases flaking at the case mouth, but I never reload it so I can't say for sure.
