North Posted May 19, 2009 Share Posted May 19, 2009 (edited) For better or worse, we have a small group of loyal shooters who only shoot 1 or 2 local matches a month. They don't like being "challenged" quite as much as the rest of the shooters. I would prefer not to alienate them, but the majority will enjoy shooting the Star. If there is no legal way to do this they will have to shoot it or take the 50 point penalty. If someone chose not to engage this target, would it be 1 FTE or 5? If they don't like being challenged offer to let them shoot for 1/2 the match fee for no score; no challenge at all. We have an older gentleman that supports the club in a ton of ways, but his health holds him back a lot. He shoots for free but is not included in the match standings.
