Alaskapopo
Can I add one of those JP iron sights off set from my optic and still be legal for this division. Pat

TRUBL
I've got that set up for my rifle.....I use a 2x7 Burris optic on top and a JP Short range tactcal sight on the side. Been legal for EVERY Major match I've gone to, including USPSA nationals. The tac rules typically state....one optic only....nothing is said about multiple sighting systems. Infact, it's tactcally sound to have a back up sight or a sight to make a weapon multi purpose......even in tactical class.

I have back up irons on all my guns but they are on the rail with the scope. That JP sight looked like a near idea for close in targets if you had a more powerful scope on the rifle. Just kicking ideas around thanks guys. I am thinking about adding a JP sight to this gun. Also I will remove the bi pod and rear mono pod for competition. Its a Larue Tactical build I did. The optic is a 2.5-16 power Bushnell Eliete 6500. Its a good scope but its slower up close due to the non lit recticle. Pat
