I would love to know. Welcome to the Forum. I havent heard of a Production "only" match. Most match's include a Production Division. Production is a good starting point, but its not the most popular division. If you Page Down to Shooting Sports Forums you can check there. Good luck in your shooting, LarryP
MemphisMechanic
Applying common sense, I searched the list of major matches on uspsa.org. 7/11/09 California Tri-Tip (Prod, SS, Revo) Morro Bay, CA 9/11/09 USPSA 2009 Open / Production Nationals Desert Sportsmen, Las Vegas, NV That's all they list with "production" in the match title. Golfballshooter
Thank you for your help. Yes I am new to this forum, I am not new to shooting. I have found out more on the topic. Some guy in Oklahoma is going to put on a production only match. From what I understand he has to work out things with the range and get supporters for the match. I'm trying to find out who this person is as soon as I do I will post it.
1911 rookie
The Trip Tip should be a great match if you want to see production shooters. It was formerly the West Coast Dual Championship a few years ago and was Production and SS only. Many of the top production shooters came for that and we are hoping the will come back this year. uscbigdawg
There's a Glocks only USPSA match in Idaho/Washington/Oregon (one of them places) every year. USPSA sanctioned too. Rich

A Guy named Stephen Hogg is tring to put on a production only match. I talked to him and he said that the match is not ready yet he is still working on a home range "he wants to put it on in tulsa at USSA but has not set that in stone yet." He said once he gets the range everything will start to go, so to speak. It sounds cool and a high round count. He said he wants 18 stages 32 rounds each and a shoot off. He want to put on a stage design Challenge as well with a pay out. He has a websight, he said it is not done yet but here it is usproductionchampionship.com it looks cool and I hope he gets this going. It would be like Single Stack Nationals 300+ people one division. Well thats all I know for now. Hope It's Official Soon.
Navysteve
Wow this was the hardest Post to find, I was told it was on enos but had no clue where. Anyway. My name is Stephen Hogg I'm the person trying to put on the Production only match. As of right now (Friday, July 10, 2009) I have found a range to host the match, however I have not signed a contract, and that is why there is not a entry form on the web page. Now with that being said and because of the phone calls I have been getting I will say something about the match. Yes there is a stage design challenge and there will be a $1000 prize to the best stage design voted by the shooters. I'm taking entries for the stages now and they can be emailed to me through the web page www.usproductionchampionship.com please read the web sight rules before sending me anything. The other questions I have been getting are when and where is the match going to be. The match will be October 15-17 of 2010. Yes that is more than one year away but I want to put on the best match that I can. The day I sign the contract with the range I will post that information in the match announcements (pistol only) part of this forum.

Navysteve
Yes every stage is 32 rounds. I am working on the match fee, I want to be able to attract as many people as I can. I'm thinking around $225 - $245. I have seen some cool stages ideas already. Some well planed stages. Free match entry if your stage idea is used in the match.
