Wanted
Just started loading rifle. I'm looking at powder's (just looking, isn't any to buy ) Anyway, Can we talk about how some powders meter with the Dillon 550? I've heard for instance, Varget does not meter well, H335 and Win.748 do. Right now I have some Xterminator. It seems to meter pretty good. Heck the stuff is like a fine sand. Would like some thoughts from more experianced people. Thanks.
Alan550
All the "ball" and "flake" type powders meter well on the Dillons. The "stick" types, not so good. For any rifle charges, be sure to stop the handle at the bottom of the stroke and hesitate for a second or 2 to let the powder drop completely. This isn't so necessary on small charges for pistols, but is a MUST for heavier charges! Alan~^~
