Alan550
They'll work, probably. I've seen a few that did. You might want to try the Metalform Ace mags from Brownells.......cheaper than the Marvels and they DO work! Alan~^~
DougCarden
Buy Metalform mags and cut off the hold open tab on the follower on the magazine with an Xacto knife and..............Tada.....same mag you buy from Marvel..........wink.... ..cheaper if you buy 10 of them from Metalform and split them with friends.... z40acp
The 15 round Ciener mags work well. How many do the Metalforms hold?
Dan Sierpina
I use the Kimber mags with my Marvel practical unit. I like them better than the Marvel mags.
earplug
I know im being cheap . Has anyone tried kimber mags in a single stack ? with a marvel kit I haven't used Kimbers mags. I have a couple of Ciener conversion manazines that are a joy to use and easy to clean. They use a round coil spring that is easy to load and they work great on my Marvel/Springfield. Dan Sierpina
I tried three kimber mag, but they never worked, any secrets? Dave, I just loaded them and shot. I did absolutely nothing to them. My conversion works best with CCI MiniMags though.

10mmdave
Tried one and it worked out of the box, down side on my Marvel is I have to pull back the slide from slide lock to chamber a rnd (guess the rnd sits farther back in the Kimber mag) not a big deal really. I have an S&A magwell on mine so I had to modify the the base plate a little also.

Shawn Knight
I have used Kimber mags with perfect functioning. I never have problems when I use them. The marvel or other Ace type mags with the slide stop shelf filed off always have to be tuned and still give me trouble.
