Ammo Storage

Question?

I am currently storing my ammo in an attic space on the 2nd floor of my house not well insulated or vented. Seemed fine during the winter time but with summer coming up is this a good place to store the ammo or should I move it somewhere else in the house. On a hot day I'd say it would atleast get around 100 degrees and stay like that for most of the day until atleast October. Thanks.

I just looked at a box of ammo to see if they list a storage temperature, but I didn't see it. My bottle of Winchester 231 powder says to store it in a cool dry place. I would move it somewhere safe, but cooler than an attic. My attic probably gets over 120 degrees, but this is North Carolina. Good luck!
