randy01
Can I shorten a 24" barrel to 20" and have it recrowned without having accuracy problems?
astephenson
Any competent gunsmith should be able to do this without any problems. Edited May 4, 2009 by WellArmedSheep
Derek45
when I had my 20" cut to 18", it seemed to get more accurate. As long as the guy cutting knows how to properly crown, it should be no problem. benny hill
I would also turn down the barrel to make a light fast gun.
RH45
I had a 24" cut down to 17" and recrowned, and it is more accurate than it ever was at 24"!!
