JimmyZip
Well, I finally did it! My garage/shop/reloading-dryfire area was just getting to me. A friend came over to see me one afternoon about three months back and kindly commented on how he never remembered me being so, um, ....messy. I think it just kind of happened with the baby, (two years ago) the economy, (working two full-time jobs), shooting, and being married. I have just been slammed! I wanted to practice movement last week, and guess what? I couldn't move more than a few meters one way and a few feet the other. (This on a deep two and a half car garage!) I was just beaten down by the whole thing and I swore I would do something. Friday I was looking over setting up the SDB for .40 S&W and I said to myself, "NO FORTY IN THIS F&*^%NG MESS!" So this morning, after the park and lunch with the ladies, I set about just kicking the mess' ass! I would not be denied! Tons of stuff I just put away. Other things went into the round file. Result? I will be loading next weekend, and dryfiring movement tonight! Now I can use my heavy bag and speed bag again! What a weight lifted off my mind. I just feel a whole lot less like a loser tonight. JZ Another cool thing though. Some of you know how I like to cook. I found the wife's grandmothers WWII victory recipe book. Lots of the things in it that I read looked good and pretty healthy. Think I will use these for the girls as new ideas to try and run by them. This will give us something to work on. I can't tell you how hard it is to please everyone's palate. Some of you might think this spoiling my kids, but I grew up with some horrible food around our house growing up. My mother was a good cook when she cooked what she grew up with. Thing is my father doesn't like Mexican food. So the only time we had good food was when she cooked while he was away or working late. I just want my kids to like the food that they are given as much as possible. I know someone is almost always sure to be disappointed, but as long as most are happy, I'm okay with that. ChrisStock
How odd your timing is with this... the wife and I did this on Saturday, as I couldn't find anything in there at all. It took all day and generated a trash pile as tall as I am , but damn, I have a decent reloading area again.

LPatterson
Surprising how many people I know have a two car garage and can't get a single car in it.
gm iprod
Surprising how many people I know have a two car garage and can't get a single car in it. Mine too, but mine is a one car garage and it sits in the drive. But mine is full of gun stuff, you know it's important. If Jimmy is so clever he can come and help clean mine up. JimmyZip
Is that an invitation to New Zealand? Can't let the wife hear about that. She would be on the phone to you in a heartbeat. Not that I wouldn't mind, just need to see what kind of work I'd be getting myself into.
