Jeff F
I was wondering what most 3 gun shootings out there are using as far as sight go on theirs pistols. As the title suggests, are they using fixed combat or adjustables. Let me know. Thanks

Team Amish 1
Hi Jeff, I can't speak from a 3-gun perspective but I think most practical pistol shooters prefer adjustable target sight. I personally use a very skinny front post (.09" wide) with a small red fibre optic (.04" dia.) and an adjustable target sight with relatively small notch as a rear sight. I used a fixed set with a black front sight before and had no way to adjust to MY perfect point of impact fo my load. Have you talked to some 3-gun shooters in your area to see what they prefer and why? Please post if 3-gun shooters' selections differ from IPSC folk's. You got me curious. RH45
I use the same pistols for 3-gun as I do for USPSA, which all have adjustable sights, but, for either game, there's nothing wrong with non-adjustable, as long as it shoots where it is supposed to. Solidgun
If more users are using adjustable, what really is the advantage of having adjustable sight for seasoned shooters? Wouldn't it be less effective if the sight drifts accidentally?
