What would my classification be now?

I just shot a 6 stage classifier today. I have only one Limited in the USPSA system currently to date. I should have another one that was last week Here they are.

62.62 Last week's

63.0 Already in USPSA

So... what will they use for my initial classification? I'm assuming the new one's get into the system this month.

If they use 4 of the recent 6 that would be all of todays only. I suppose since I'll have 8 they could use the best 6??

Who nows- the classifier calc could be off too!

They initial is supposed to be four, but you will have 8 so I'm not sure. I "think" they will use your first 4 an go with 64%

I bet they use 6 of the first 8 when it gets to headquarters. Either way, you should be a B, if I did that right. Congrats, welcome to the biggest class in uspsa!

they will use the best 4 of the most recent 6

from the rulebook: "...the classification system will look at the best six unduplicated scores of the most recent eight to evaluate the member’s

current classification percentage.

also, they'll throw out the lowest ones...

"to prevent unusually low scores from affecting your classification percentage, scores that are more than 5 percent below your classification bracket (e.g. a score of 34.99% for a C class competitor) are not used for classification purposes."

Actually since I had got mixed answers I called HQ. I was told that if I have 8 classifiers for my initial classification- they will count the best 6. If there were more for my initial classification they would take the best 6 from my most recent 8.

45DV8 had 1 SS classifier in the books, then added 10 the next month. They determined his percentage by using the best 4 of the last 6 posted. Neither one of us had any idea this was how they were going to do it. My guess is yours will be 60.59%

I can tell you they only counted my top 4. I had 2, then shot a classifier match and 6 more went in at once.

Thanks guys. I know it's just a classification and whether I make B or C doesn't make me a better shooter... but it is a goal I set for myself. I know who I want to beat at my matches anyway.

Well- I'd like to make sure the results match what I wrote down since they aren't posted yet... and that the classifier calc is correct... before I assume I'm there.

As far as production.... you shouldn't mess with the Glock guys... you are at too much of a disadvantage! I can't wait to see the look on your face when your mags start just dropping out on their own!! LOL

Well the results are posted. They ended up taking the best four of the most recent 6 (all from a level 1 classifier match that I had some crapy shoots- italics). The thing that bums me out is I had some better classifiers that didn't count because they weren't entered in time. I didn't realize that that match posting isn't the same as the classifier posting. Plus I had another one that I finished several weeks ago that still wasn't posted.

Here is what I have so far- top being most recent, bottom oldest. So currently becuase they only counted the bold scores- I'm a 'C'... but once they post the most recent score(s) they would count the best 6 of the most recent 8... I think I should be B then... unless the 74.857 doesn't get entered for some reason....
