section30
Or are they called bearings or shims? The ones between hammer / trigger and boss faces, where do you purchase them? I tried looking in Brownell's catalog and I THINK these are the ones, but I'm not sure: 713-050-001AB? $18 seems like a lot.................. One on the hammer got squished up on my 25-2. Those are the ones. you end up with many more than you need but you can also buy a smaller package from Brownells.

jmax
In my experience they are used when some one polishes off the hammer or trigger boss on a side plate to "Smooth" the action.
Viggen
They are used when the hammer or trigger is rubbing heavily on one side or the other(happen sometimes) and the desire is to reduce the friction from the contact.
cas
^ I put them in my 625 for that reason, to salvage someone's ugly work.
