RangemasterD
I hope someone can help me out. I just finished putting my witness match back together from its first full teardown. When I got the safety off, the detent pin that goes into the safety fell out it two pieces. I have put it back together and it works more or less. The safety used snap on and off quite firmly and now it is very mushy. I have looked on the EAA website and on Hennings site and cant find that little pin by itself. I really don't want to have to buy a new safety lever just for that little detent. Does anyone have a part number for just that pin or can you tell me where and how to get one. Much appreciate any help as this is my main competition gun and I really hate to have it down for awhile. Derick H.
BritinUSA
If you are talking about the roll-pin that goes into the right-side ambidextrous safety. I think it's the first item in the table on this page here called Spare Pin for Ambi Thumb Safety

CHA-LEE
If you are looking for the spring loaded pin that "Locates" the safety into the Safe/Fire positions by ramping into the grooves in the frame, I don't think that is a separate part. You will probably have to buy a whole new safety lever. Get out the magnifying class and a magnet to try and find it, or just order another safety lever. It sucks but you need it or the safety will be flopping around between Safe/Fire as you shoot the gun. Or it could easily get bumped into the Fire position and you end up having an accidental discharge as you handle or draw the gun, which isn’t a good thing. Don’t cheap out on keeping your gun functional and safe.

Hi Try a mail directly to Tanfoglio in Italy. They have been extremely helpful in cases like this. The little part you are talking about are famous for its ability to launch and disappear. I have a bag at home with a lot of small pins and springs, including this one, Tanfoglio sent me for free.
BritinUSA
Give Henning a call, maybe he can help. He's a lot closer than Italy.
