bamayne
How much thinner are the henning aluminum grips compared to the stock rubber grips on an elite match? The oem grips feel way to thick and I would like to thin it out a bit.
BritinUSA
If I measure the frame without the grips it is .990 with the grips installed the overall width is 1.190... So 0.1" each grip approx
bamayne
Thanks for the info! That's quite a bit thinner than the stock grips. It's nice to have a place to ask these kind of questions with people who are willing to help out. thanks again Brian

Mo Hepworth
I have the textured Henning grips on my Limited Custom.40 I like them a lot. No Need for grip tape IMO. I did trim out the thumb channel (where my thumb moves to press the mag release). I have small hands so this is necessary for me.
ammodave
I'd like thinner grips but I'm not that fond of aluminum. Does anybody make a thinner checkered grip in wood or rubber?
