BigDave
Alter Bridge - Ties That Bind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ko6tfrjc1E0 MxPx - Secret Weapon Dropkick Murphys - Spicy McHaggis Jig (because it's catchy and funny) The Mars Volta - Wax Similcara Byzantine - Nadir (heaviest of the set, but not too heavy IMO) Lamb of God - Set to Fail - (ok, this is the heaviest of the set, but a killer groove and lyrics.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd2LfMHivRE

little_kahuna
I only listen to 3 types of music, intense music, really intense music, and Enya... \m/ Of the first two types, i think you'd like... Intense: "The Artist in the Ambulance" - Thrice Really Intense: "The End of Heartache" - KillSwitch Engage "Two Weeks" - All That Remains "Blue and Gold" - The Ghost Inside Deathcore (just for comparison, health hazard): "Chicago's Finest" - Emmure Intense (less screaming, if that's what youre looking for): 30 Seconds to Mars On the Last Day Sick Puppies Chiodos Funeral For a Friend YellowCard Story of the Year Saosin Iron Maiden (of course) Protest the Hero Nine Inch Nails DragonForce (the most epic/metal band ever) Black Sabbath NonPoint Thrice Brand New Tool The Killers Disturbed Three Days Grace TheBleedingAlarm Dio Chevelle The Classic Crime The White Stripes Bad Company The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Jimmy Eat World Korn Papa Roach Linkin Park Shiny Toy Guns (electro-pop, but still good) Scary Kids Scaring Kids Drowning Pool Tenacious D (yes... the D!) Hawthorne Heights Flogging Molly Modest Mouse Ozzy The Used A Perfect Circle Breaking Benjamin Coheed and Cambria Danzig Dropkick Murphy's Fear Factory The Offspring Tiger Army Really Intense (more screaming, but amazing tunes imo): It Dies Today Five Finger Death Punch Haste The Day In Flames As I Lay Dying A Static Lullaby SlipKnot KillSwitch Engage (perhaps my very favorite) Bullet For My Valentine All That Remains Static-X Alesana Terror (idk how to classify this, Harcore? Thrash?) Flames Embrace A Day To Remember DanceGavinDance Daughters of Mara (thanks Dave! [XRe]) Silent Civilian SkyEatsAirplane The Fall of Troy The Ghost Inside Trivium Destroy The Runner Kittie DeathCore, Sub-division of Really Intense; the "you may cry if you listen to this, but it's worth mentioning..." you might like it... or not: Winds of Plague Suicide Silence Whitechapel Rose Funeral Born of Osiris The Devil Wears Prada Emmure RECON Impending Doom eta: i just realized this post is unbelievably long. I'm sorry Edited May 4, 2009 by little_kahuna
A-shot
This is for LK: Arsonists Get All The Girls, CarBomB, IonDissonance, Job For A Cowboy. You have to have Meshuggah, I know you have it. Bury Your Dead, The Destro. ALL Shall Perish, Better Left Unsaid. I got to play with Better Left Unsaid last year, very cool people. All in the "Very Deathcore" category!
