-JQ-
I like trying new things -- by myself even. That is how I started pistol matches too...just showed up with gun in bag one day. Blue Ridge 3 Gun will be my first real honest to goodness 3G...and I'll have to admit I'm really nervous...but in a good way! I have the equipment but still hope I'm "equiped"...my main goal is to have fun, be safe, and not come in last...and I really hope my gear holds out as I'm not much of a gun smith. As I had a bit of a "major" health issue last fall, I've gotten a bit out of shape and this event will hurt (good hurt I think)...in fact I have my (hopefully last) appointment with cardio-guy this Wednesday before leaving Thursday. What if he says take it easy??? I'll just shoot slow I guess 'cause I'm paid up and ready to play. If you haven't seen the park where this is being held check this out. I love Kentucky! Shawn Knight
I felt the same way when i went to my first Area match. Am I ready for this? Do I really want to hit a major match this soon in my shooting career? I did it and was very happy with my placement! I am sure you will do just fine!
