bbbean
Is my Ed Brown Kobra Barrel really that slow? FWIW, my Chrono shows Atlanta Arms and Ammo 230 @ PF-158. Assuming my chrono is accurate, should I consider dropping OAL to 1.2 or 1.22, or should I bump charge up to 4.5? yoshidaex
hows the ammo feed at that length? If it feeds good, I would leave it and verify your results using another chrono. Once you verify the results you can decide what to do from there. IIRC you can load a hollow point slightly shorter than a RN bullet and it'll still feed well, right? what brand of chrono are you using? Hows that load feel? Ammo feeds great, but I don't have another chrono nearby to double check. Its a little snappier than 4.1 and the Atlanta Arms, but still manageable. Its softer than the S&B (which chronos at 170 in my gun). FWIW, its a Chro Pal by Competition Electronics.
Jeff Matzka
I'm betting the chrono's the culprit.
twodownzero
I think it's going to take more Clays than that to make major with a jacketed bullet, possibly. Mine makes major at 3.7 with lead, though.
