stik
I have read over serval topics on this and with alot of info. My goal is to get a new 1-4 optic for 3 gun w/illum reticle that is visble in daylight. I have firsthand experience w/the following Visible in daylight Meopta K-dot New Trijicon 30mm 1-4 German reticle Not visible in daylight Millet DMS Burris xtr Horus Vision Talon I am looking at the nightforce but have also heard that it also washes out in daylight. I mainly just want one visible due to sometimes dark backgrounds on berms, etc. The 2 Millet DMS's I own now work fine but looking at others, I can tell a big difference in the optics quailty/clarity. Does anyone know if Burris or Horus has "improved" their illumination to be more visible in day light and does anyone have any experience w/the nightforce w/circle-dot reticle in daylight or is the info I heard on it just heresay. Any other options I have left out? I looked over the US optics scopes but can't find anyone w/firsthand experience w/those. If only Trijicon would put an ACOG style reticle in their new scope, my search would be over. Thanks for any info you all may can provide. GIO
I think you about covered it. Meopta seems to be the one everybody likes for daylight illumination.
mike4045
I can pick up my dots on my Burris XTR during daylight. I do keep fresh batteries in it, might make a little difference. Mike
DMAC
I have the Meopta and like it. I do wish that there was other reticle options on this scope.
HSMITH
My only complaint with the Meopta is that it doesn't have a one minute dot, other than that I think it is outstanding.
