txsafr
Can anyone tell me how much over bullet diameter it's acceptable to bore a open pistol compensator to? I bought a used open gun, and it's nicking the bullets on the front baffle of the comp, needless to say the accuracy is affected.
ExtremeShot
I go to .375. I know its larger than most, however, it works just fine for me. Darren [edit]......... that's obviously on a 9mm. Edited April 13, 2009 by ExtremeShot
Matt Cheely
Open it up till you're not getting baffle strikes. Check to make sure that the comp isn't loose.

Some 9/38S comps are as much as .385-.390"....I think the current Bedell Ti comps are in that range and I can measure my MC comp when I get home.
