Springfield Champion
Does USPSA allow the safariland 333 comp 2 holder? Has anyone ever had a 4" revolver that could keep in the same accuracy class as a 6"? I'm not talking speed shooting only pure accuracy. So far my experiences have been the 6" has way better goups by far, the 4" have been good to ok but not in the same class.
North
As to which is more accurate; if they are built the same both would have the same intrinsic accuracy. However the 6 will be easier to shoot accurately mainly because of the sight radius. Edited April 6, 2009 by North
Resjudicata
I don't believe USPSA has any restriction on type or placement of speedloader holders. Use whatever you want. Just keep them within 2" of the inner part of your inner belt. Chris
chemepharmd
The holder should definitely be fine for USPSA. As Chris said, almost any holder you can buy is allowed in USPSA. I also agree on the accuracy. I can shoot 6" revolvers much better than I can shoot 4" revolvers, but it's due to sight radius. My wife has a S&W 642 with a 2" barrel and CTC lasergrips on it. When you shoot that little gun from a good rest in an indoor range (& use the laser of course), you can get 2" groups at 25 yards all day long with cheap factory ammo. Other guns will shoot better groups I'm sure, but I was impressed that a 2" barrel could shoot that well. In case you want to try some USPSA shooting, we shoot the second and fourth Saturdays at Vinegar Bend, and you'd be welcome any time. I'm guessing, but it's probably about a 1 1/2 hour drive down from Thomasville. I know it's a long drive, but the matches sure are fun!
