walter hornby
Howdy all. i need a bit of help. i was given a moon clip for my training gear, however it has one loaded round in it. since i don't use live ammunition in the class room i would like to pull this round out of the moon clip and put just a piece of brass back in. how can i do this if i do not have a moon clip tool? snertley
Pull on it strait outward, while slightly turning it as you pull. Nothing to it.
Mooney
pliers will help if you can't get a good grip.
Matt Griffin
Caveat: A .357/.38 moonclip is much tougher than a .45 moonclip. Give a go with your fingers, and if you can get a gap, a twist with a flathead screwdriver will do the trick. H.
71Commander
Shoot it then use a dowel rod in the empty.
