Freeze, said the man cruisin' the beat

You get your hands up and spread your feet

Don't you move an inch, I heard him say

Or you'll be doin' time until the judgement day

Don't tell me no lies, give me alibis

'Cause if you cross my path, you'll be doin' life

Cleaning up one more time is sure getting old

Why don't you bury me like the dirt that's in my soul

What makes you think you could love me, anyway

Ain't nobody told you about the way I operate

Ain't nobody told you, baby

Well, I guess that makes you the only one

Very good, Nick. The metal force is strong with you! My answer to you is: Temporary Saint by Government Mule

I'm up again, huh? Try these lyrics from one of my favorite punk bands...

I am a patient boy

I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait

My time is like water down a drain

Everybody's moving,

Everything is moving

Please don't leave me to remain

ah yes...Waiting Room by Fugazi i still love that song

here's mine....one of my all time favorite songs to listen to before a match also love playing this on my Warwick

Did you ever question

any of the things

they taught you while you were at school

And did you ever question

oh my teacher

why do you take me for a fool?

Well, Grumpy One waited too long, so I'm back with a new one.

I love blasting this song at the gym. It is also quite appropriate with some of the happenings in the news...

I speak peace when peace is spoken

But I speak war when your hate is provoking

The season is open 24-7-365

Man up yo time to ride

No need to hide behind slogans of deceit

Claiming that you're a religion of peace

We just don't believe you

We can clearly see through

The madness that you're feeding your people

  • 2 weeks later...

"After he stiffed a waitress, and ran out on his tab, Big Mac had a heart attack in the back of a yellow cab. By the time the sound of the sirens, said the ambulance was coming, his heart had stopped beating, but the meter was still running....

Looks like GrumpyOne has everybody stumped. May I offer one while we're waiting?... went back to the beginning of the string and was surprised not to see it:

my hands are lightning upon my gun...

my shots are clean and my shots are final,

my shots are deadly, and when its done...

Thanks... enjoying the string

This will be a little tougher than just copying the first line into Google.

If you are a bluegrass fan, this will be easy. Good luck.

I could never pretend that I don't love you

You could never pretend that I'm your man

That's exactly the way that I want it

That's exactly the way that I am

And you call me in the morning with your troubles

Takin' it downtown every night

I could never place the stars at night above you

Got my hands on the ground and you know I'm right

Here's one that boomers or gen x'ers should know.

Being drunk and weary I went to Mollys chamber takin my Molly with me

And I never knew the danger for about six or maybe seven,in walked Capt Farrel.

I jumped up, fired my pistols and shot him with both barrels

Sirveyr, I don't know yours, but I do know 2alpha's

It's Whiskey in the Jar by both Thin Lizzy and Metallica

Try this one out:

We'll all find our sacrifice tomorrow,

Our journey on towards a brighter day,

Silent tears we left behind, still so far away,

Across the endless sands,

Through the fields of our despair,

Free for all eternity, we stand, yeah,

Rise above the universe tonight,

Starchaser...

I'm not a huge fan of power metal (i'm more of a grindcore, death, black metal guy), but I do respect the licks. Herman Li is sick.

My song was

It' almost a thrash bluegrass song. :roflol: I'm addicted to these guys right now.

That was a good one Sirveyr, I just listened to it from the link.

Now for a different twist:

Well I was drivin' down I-95 the other night.

Somebody nearly cut me right off the road.

I decided it wasn't gonna do any good to get mad.

So I wrote a song about him instead.

It goes like this...

Like I said before, my musical tastes are a bit eclectic

Eclectic? Hmmmm, I'll say! First Dragonforce and now Jimmy Buffet. I think it's the "I-95 Song". I'll check the Google here in a few minutes. I'll let someone else play the next round.

Anyone want the stage?

I Pulled this one back up because no one twigged on it before. Here is a hint, they are not from North America.

I just dug this out of the vault -

In the desert in the dry

Before the breaking of the rain

The temperature in the shade

Had reached a hundred and ten again

In the desert in the dry

On the overland telegraph line

Dont take the law into your own hands

Dont go looking for a fight

I still can't get RicRac's and I won't lower my self to google it

Ahem...I won't hazard a guess.....

But try this...

Beginning of this world selled with mankind

Who built a tool to kill a fool and lead the blind

Invent a rule to keep you down & call it sin

Then stand behind the wall and watch the games begin

Separate by class but keep the middle low

In still the order with a border just for show

Give them weapons and let them have their piece of mind

Then tip them off so they can kill what's not their kind

I know it's a COC song, but I'm unsure of the title.

My previous comment was a hint:

Don't let the "roaring of the bull" distract you from naming the tune.

I'm going to throw out a couple in a different direction.

This is some of what I grew up on

I was born one morning, it was drizzlin' rain

Fightin' and trouble are my middle name

I was raised in the cane brake by an old mama lion

Ain't no high-toned woman make me walk the line

Or

These two riverboats, racin' up the river,

Then ol' Dixie runs aground

There she stands high and dry,

And we're walkin' right on by

I can see the lights of town

We're gonna roll that cotton down

Or

The hunter is a cheerful sight. His hearth is warm, his fire bright.

His songs, they fill the winter night among the leaves so green-o.

To my hey down, down. Hoe down, down. Hey down, hoe down, derry, derry down.

Among the leaves so green-o.

:sight:

Good Luck!

And remember that I have and eclectic taste in Music :goof:
