Theo Carter
Just as the topic says. Who sell a slide racker for a left handed shooter? Theo Edited January 26, 2009 by Theo Carter
Neomet
You can use a Sidewinder. It just looks kinda.....funky on the right side.
dfwmiket
I remember not long ago someone asking, but I'll tell you that I have a sidewinder just tweaked so it sits 'on its side' and works fine for a lefty. Brian H. on the forum here has done some experimenting with some cool stuff too, worth a PM. -Mike
Larry273
Errol Lawson of Keal Machining does a right side racker for right hand shooters (as a matter of style and preference). That would certainly work for you.
kmca
I used one of these for a while: http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/pro...20racker&s=

Bending it up allows for better clearance to the thumb-safety Edited January 26, 2009 by matt2ace
racerba
So why can't you use a "right" handed slide racker and turn it around?
Neomet
So why can't you use a "right" handed slide racker and turn it around? Because they will "face" backward. The sidewinder when placed on the left side comes out of the slide and moves rearward and up. When you flip it over to the right side it comes out of the slide and moves forward and up, and you grab the racker by what normally is the back. Thanks - didn't think about the back offset part of it. The ones I have are all straight.
Alan550
Brownells also sells the Briley slide racker on the same catalog page and could be considered ambi. It looks a bit like the charge handle on an AR15 and comes straight back. Alan~^~

shootingchef
All I need now is someone(ahem) to cut the slide for my new SV racker.
Theo Carter
I have a G&B on one of my open guns. I was trying to see if there is other options out there. Anyone has a Dawson slide racker they would like to sell, there are Ambi and I like the look.
MadBomber
I kind of wish I had enough meat left on the rear of my slide to add a slide racker. Oh well, I guess you can't miss something you never had.
