PINMAN44
God bless the Walsh family. I'm glad that they have closure. What happened to their son is horrific, and no one should ever have to experience such tragedy.

Micah
After working three years in a juvenile detention center, the only thing that got me through the day was the belief that there is a special circle of hell reserved for bastards like this. PINMAN44
Mr. Walsh is a strong man, I don't know what I would do in a situation of that nature. I hope no one has to experience that kind of pain.
JFlowers
Merlin, Basically, the Sheriff'd Dept has decided that the person who confessed to killing Adam Walsh several times actually did it. None of the articles I have seen say that there is any new evidence that has led to this conclusion, and the guy who confessed is dead, so I am not really sure about why this is such a major development. Have to be missing something.

JFlowers
Don't get me wrong, I have the deepest sympathy for the Walsh family and while I don't always agree with him, respect for John Walsh for doing something rather than letting his grief consume him. But maybe I am just too much of a pessimist. The guy's deathbed confession was 12 years ago, and the Sheriff's department is just NOW deciding they believe it. Right, and I have some farm land east of Miami to sell you. Is the Sheriff up for re-election? or running for some other office? There has to be more to this story than what's being reported. A-shot
It also says that Toole was an accomplice of Henry Lee Lucas, 4-213? victims in the same time period. One of them or Dahmer... The family gets some peace and closure, that's good.
PINMAN44
One way or another this was truly a tragic thing, and I'm happy to hear that Mr. Walsh and his family have closure. I think he is a great individual.
gm iprod
I watched his speech on th eevening news and that took some guts. The best line. "We were not looking for closure, just justice." I hope they have both. There is no special place in Hell for bastards like Toole, but I have one.
