AzShooter
So, I placed an order last week for some small parts. Got an E-mail saying the order couldn't go through so I called the company. The girl was pleasant, asked me for my address and immediately said oh, that doesn't match our file. She corrected it and my credit card went through. Next day I get anothe E-mail confirming shipment with you guessed it, the wrong address. I called back and was told I musst have put in my wrong name. Duh ! They still had the wrong address assigned to my account. I explained it needed to be changed again but she kept insisting I wasn't who I said I was. The order was going to the wrong address and there was nothing I could do about it. At most, if the costomer that got the package returned it they would send it to me. ARE YOU NUTS? or words to that affect came from my mouth. I asked for her supervisor who go on the phone already in a foul mood. She explained again it was my fault that the account address was wrong and they wouldn't help me. I asked for her supervisor. Good thing I had taken my Valium already. Next woman, Randy, gets on the phone. I asked her to take a deep breath and smile before she could help me. That must have broken the ice. She said she couldn't help because the original girl that took my correct address was in a meeting and could she call me back at ***-****, Not my number. I immediately told her it wasn't my numkber and someone had interferred with my account. Now she believed me. At just about that time the original girl came out of her meeting. 30 seconds later Randy told me my order would be shipped today to my home address. Never give up when the first representative doesn't help you. Everyone has a supervisor.

ken hebert
Nah, time to shop somewhere else. Reminds me of when my bank was bought out by another bank. They mailed me a new debit card, but no activation info. Website changed and I couldn't log in. Called to get my card activated and PIN changed and they told me I had to provide them with my last purchase ammount, exactly, and my last deposit ammount, exactly. Which of course I couldn't do because I CAN'T LOG IN TO MY ACCOUNT. Same thing, got transferred to another department that could help me out, only they wanted the exact same info. Two departments later I lost it, completely lost it. Finally was transferred to someone with some clout and was able to roughly estimate my last debit transaction and where it was and she helped me out. When I tellyou I lost it, I really mean I lost it. The dog, who loves me to death, got up and slinked out of the room and went and hid out by my wife. But you're right, don't give up on the phone. And have your Valium. (note to self: get some Valium.)
