Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have a SVI slide with the changeable breachface. I was wondering if any of you actually change it to go to different calibers? I plan on making the pistol primarily a 40 but wanted to be able to shoot 9mm/45acp as well. I was just wondering if anyone is actually doing this and how well it works. I realize I have to have different extractors and ejectors as well as barrels. I saw that Springfield has there system but I can make my single stack cheaper I think. I appreciate any help you guys can give. Thanks, Eric
shootingchef
I have a SVI with a set up for 9mm with a bushing barrel and a 40 set up with a bull barrel. I change out the extractor when I change out the breech face. It's real easy. I like it.

Dalmas
I have one of my SVIs setup for .40 and when I shot 9x19 the only thing I change is barrel and mags. Has worked without problem for years. Never tried .45.
