Matt Cheely
I'm using ramshot silhouette right now and it's smokey and dirt as hell. 5gr btw for a 129pf out of a Tanfo Stock Silhouette is NOT for minor... Dirty as all get out. I had some loaded on top of lead back in the day and it totally gunked up a 9mm AR I had.

I just had a bunch of it on hand from open, but I wanted to work up a cleaner load for some production stuff. I really have had a good time shooting that little Tanfo. I'm going to setup another rig for it so I can play Prod now and then. It might even help me to keep my open shooting honest. Anyone else??? Loads please. JimmyZip
I currently shoot 125gr. Bear Creek LRN. They are coated. The charge is 4.2gr 231. This is the same load I used with regular uncoated LRNs. Some smoke, little to no leading. Shot out of a standard length BHP. I clean my pistol before every match though, so as far as cleanliness YMMV.

DougCarden
Jim, try WST or Solo 1000. Those two will smoke the least with lead. Dont bother with Titegroup at all, and CLAYS will work, but the accuracy wont be what you want. If you want guaranteed accuracy try W 231/HP38. Load them as long as you can with the mags and feed reliability, and start at 3.6 and chrono up to where you want to be. Just take the bell off the case so they drop into the case gauge and you are set.

ben b.
4.5 gr of Solo1000, 124 gr Rainier, 1.140"OAL. 4" barrel, 15-shot avg 1035 (sd=11), PF avg = 128 (Low 127- High 130)
revchuck
I use 4.4 grains of 231 under a 122 grain LTC loaded to 1.05". It runs well over 1100 fps in my Beretta and CZs. Using the generic 125 grain RNL with this charge at 1.15" OAL would probably still make the PF.
