tk4
I am loading 9mm minor with wst and 135gr moly bullets. If I chrono a load at 50 degrees that makes 134pf, how much pf should I expect to lose at 80 or 90 degrees? I want to load up a bunch of rounds this winter for use in spring and early summer. HSMITH
A lot, don't know about 9mm but it can move 10 power factor in 40 with 180's from 40 to 90 degrees. Throw some on the dash with the defroster on and heat them up, you can get a good idea of what will happen when it gets hot.
tk4
I chronoed a few today at 133pf at around 45 degrees. I put some on the floor board with the heat cranked on them for about 15 minutes, and they chronoed at about 130pf. I also had some Solo 1000 loads that I ran the same test on and they dropped about 2pf. I guess I will break down and get a 8lb canister of WST. I hope I won't be dissapointed.
