sperman Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Does anyone know what the thread pitch is of a 1911 grip screw?
ede Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 i tried one in a gage and came up with 8-40, not sure it's right but it threaded in and didn't damage the threads.
CSEMARTIN Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Matt, Just for my clarification, what does the .250 refer to? Is it the length of the thread?
sperman Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 .150"-50 x .250" Thanks. I was afraid it wasn't something more readily available. .150" is the Major Diameter 50 is the threads per inch .250" is the length (measured from under the head on a BHCS)
