Jack Suber
Yesterday was the first time in almost 2 years that I have been able to go deer hunting. I missed last year because of Nationals and knee surgery. We had a nice cool, clear evening and I sat overlooking a large food plot with a pond along the edge. Watched ducks come and go from the pond and several deer in the field. Had Carolina Wrens flying all around and even landing on my rifle barrel. Forgot how much I missed it. Its good to be back at it....
-JQ-
It is amazing what you can see in the woods when you are as disciplined as you. I used to bow hunt and I loved the peace that is present in the woods after awhile...peace - not silence. Gets me thinking...thanks.

dajarrel
Jack, I started hunting again last year after not hunting for 6-7 years. I enjoy the hunt and the taking of game for the table, but I must admit, just being in the woods, by myself, with a camera is what I really enjoy the most. dj

chemepharmd
Jack, I've been fortunate enough to deer hunt every year since childhood, and the days like you've described are some of the best. It's always nice to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Hopefully, John will enjoy it as much as you.

Just outside of Columbia, about 15 miles from the intersection of I26 and I77. 20 minutes from my office....

I'll make up for it this year, though..
