Bill T
Both Cabela's and Sportsmans Warehouse have it at or near $49.95 a bag. Anyone finding anything cheaper in the Phoenix metro area? Bill T.
sargenv
There is a place online selling it for $42.99 a bag when it is in stock. I think 2 bags cost $9 to ship via flat rate box. Your choices are 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, and 9. I'll have to look up the info as I don't have it here at work.

3GunF1Guy
I just went to Sportsmans Warehouse in Salt Lake and they have lowered the price to 39.95 a bag. I might have to start buying some again. Scott

sargenv
Well, it's nice to see that the prices are dropping a bit. I remember buying shot for $48/100 pounds at one time. I;m msure some people can remember it for a lot cheaper. Edited September 28, 2008 by sargenv

Heavy Barrel
I;m msure some people can remember it for a lot cheaper $9.00 Give it time...... They claim its just the housing market that will be effected. Though I wouldn't be surprised that it effects more than just the housing market. What gets me is that while just about every one is lowering their prices to match the current market. There are those "black sheep" out there that are still wanting $40-50 for 25lbs. Bill T
It appears to be dropping fast in value, just like everything else. Bill T.
Chills1994
^^^ No... NOT everything is dropping quickly: This last one is sort of misleading. Here is how platinum has been doing for 2008: Taking a look at the other 2 metals for 2008, it seems they all peaked in Feb/March and have been declining ever since. Anyone here want to venture a guess as to why they all peaked then? I really don't know...
Hank Ellis
Gamaliel Shooting Supply1497 Fountain Run Road, PO Box 240 Gamaliel, Kentucky 42140 Just before Gustave I was ready to put in a bulk order with Gamaliel. They would pick up the shipping and HazMat on any order of $1500 or more. Shot, powder, wads, primers. Didn't matter. In addition they would knock $1 off per bag of shot. Only gotcha was that the shipping address had to be somewhere that an 18 wheeler could do the dropoff. My local trap range was more that happy to accomodate me.Be worth a phone call to see what they do for you.

If my memory is "working" correctly that was about the same time they come across the party that was intentionally driving up the price of commodities yet he had no investments or intentions of investing in the market. JD45
Lead was about 65 cents a pound today. If they will stop screwing us, shot, bullets, and all ammo should be cheaper by Jan. I hear. People are predicting a flat of cheap shotshells headed towards the low 30s range.
