Mo Hepworth
I found it is now wobling a little,...maybe less than .5mm....any suggestions for a fix. I will have to sight it in again....but should I peen it a bit on the sides so as to make it a tighter fit..?

I will have to sight it in again....but should I peen it a bit on the sides so as to make it a tighter fit..? The whole sight or just the leaf? If it's the whole sight, just take the sight off and re-locktight the screws. Use the red stuff.
Mo Hepworth
not the leaf/lever....but the base where it slides into the slide.

R.Elliott
done!! thanks Rob. Hey Mo, while you're at it you should do the silicon thing as well. A slice of cured silicone under the leaf will take the bounce out of it and prevent the elevation screw from walking its way out in recoil. You can also use a slice of vacuum tube hose. Works great>
sinnsyk
It's pretty ghetto, but one way to stop the elevation screw from moving is put a piece of black [electrical] tape over the screw to hold it in place. If you're a little more fancy, you drill your sight from the side and install a set screw.
R.Elliott
you drill your sight from the side and install a set screw. That would certainly fix it for good and permanent.
