Dave Gundry
Even when you're not shooting Warning - possibly nasty picture to follow Sliced and squished it pretty good yesterday. Was picking up a Go-Devil surface drive boat motor off a crate and it shifted and got me between part of the skeg and the crate. Already sad - today was our weekly match, and the second to the last one at that - hope I'm back up and running next week...
EZ Bagger
Hopefully it's "just" a cut...and you get to shoot that last match.
Dave Gundry
It's definitely not broken, but given today's swelling, I not so sure I just cut it - something in there isn't so happy with me right now. You could see the tendon and a vein in there, both of which the doc at the ER said looked ok, and given my range of motion and strength, he didn't even see a need to xray it. JThompson
That looks like at least two weeks with some pain when you start shooting. Good time to work on your weak hand sjillz.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I will give you a hint for next time. Wear gloves. They can stop that from happening. I know I have cut my hands so many times without gloves on they look like they where sewn on by Dr Frankenstein. Leather gloves, even thin ones will help keep your fingers on your hands. Take some time off but remember to exercise the finger. Beer curls work well. Cold beer in a bottle or can keeps the swelling down Do you still have feeling at the tip of your finger on both sides? If so then you are good. Take care and be safe. Thanks, Eric
Ed K
Dave; Tell the truth, you were just looking for a way to get out of doing stats tonight. BTW, you missed a good shoot. Ed

Thanks, Eric Hey, that's the recovery (and maintenance) plan I'm on now Still have feeling, it's just kind of tingly, a bit numb/warm, and occasionally throbs a bit.
