down0
I give up. I absolutely cannot find bolt disassembly instructions for an Eddystone Enfield on the internet. Little help? My fall back plan is to try to find a Eddystone manual at the gun show this weekend (billed as "The Wests Coolest Gunshow". The high is Phoenix was 114 today...gotta keep tellin' myself it beats shoveling snow, it beats shoveling snow, it beats.....
Run n Gun
down0, Try http://www.highspeedlane.net/m1917/ As far as the heat goes, I went to High School in Palm Springs California. As soon as I was able I left that God forsaken desert without a rearward glance. When it gets to be 90 outside there MIGHT AS WELL be 6ft of snow out, I go from my air conditioned office to my air conditioned car to my air conditioned house! Hope this helps, Ed
down0
Ed, Many thanks, that is exactly what I have been looking for. Using a piece of string! Who knew? As for the heat, when I get too whiney, I picture those days in Milwaukee and Bismarck and Anchorage and Glasgow (Montana, that is), when it was so cold the hairs in my nose froze as soon as I stepped outside. Makes it a little easier to handle this dry heat.
