CSEMARTIN
Hello, has anyone had any experience with the .22 caliber conversion kits for the G17? Thanks.
EricW
I have an Advantage Arms for my G19 and have had mixed results so far. I have a problem with getting the slide to go into battery consistently, resulting in light primer strikes. Also, the AA slide is 0.030 to 0.040" wider than stock, so forget trying to use it in your existing Kydex holster, it won't fit. Other than that, it has been very good. I especially enjoy using the 22 kit for footwork drills - just because it takes it up a step from dryfiring. Buy LOTS of magazines if you get one. I have 5, and should have bought 5 more. They're thumb-busters to load and it's something you'll want to do at home in front of the boob tube.
