Shotgun observation - NWTF Shoot

I participated in the NWTF Turkey Shoot in Smarr, GA this weekend. It is a large Sporting Clays shoot (fund-raiser?) with over 500 competitors. While at the shoot, I did an informal and very non-scientific survey of the shotguns of choice.

First, I noted a decrease in automatics - the over/unders seem to dominate this shoot even more than in the past. Those that were shooting autos had Beretta 390s or 391s. A few Hunter Class shooters had Benellis.

The Browning Citori based over/unders seemed to dominate - 325s, 425s, 525s, and the new 625s. Saw a few of the Browning Cynergies. Those that could afford them were shooting Kreighoffs.

Just wanted to share as there have been some "what are people shooting" type posts in the past. Full disclosure - I shot a Browning 325 in the main event but Remington 1100 20, 28, and 410 in sub-gauge.
