Venezuela
I will soon receive a Glock 23 which I will shoot (for economic reasons) with 180 gr. lead bullets (50% linotype and 50% wheel weights). Because of all the information on shooting lead from Glocks, I bought an aftermarket Federal Arms barrel. The powder I have is Titegroup which I shoot on my Beretta 92F with 135 gr. lead at 3.3 gr. with good results. Can anyone suggest loads for Titegroup - 180 gr. lead bullets - .40 S&W. I´ve searched the Forum but couldn´t find the answer. THANKS!!
Flexmoney
When you do a search...you usually need to change the search date so that it searches all the way back to the beginning. If you don't, it just searches the last 30 days, by default. (Brian, can we change that?) I'll save you some time on the TG search... I use 180 jacketed bullets with TiteGroup in the larger Glocks. I'm not sure how the lead bullets and shorter barrel will effect you. Start low and work your way up. Look for signs of pressure. Minor load - 3.5g of TG at 1.135+ OAL Major load (makes about 170 in the G35) - 4.3g of TG at 1.135+ OAL
texasag93
I shoot TG with 180 TC lead bullets. I use 4.4gr seated to 1.18" About 170 PF. Start lower and work your way up. TXAG
a-44978
My .02 cents worth. Load 50 or a 100 then try em. I loaded 500 220g lead once and after 20 or so rounds i was off the paper way off. I don't know what i did wrong but i learned a lesson that day. good luck
